We understand that patients will focus on the total number of grafts they receive, not just the session size. Many clinics still point to graft numbers as a marketing claim, yet we pride ourselves on being transparent and realistic.

We charge per session size (for FUT and FUE procedures), and always based on the transplanted hairs.
Treatments have evolved to be more effective and affordable. We now transplant a vastly larger amount of grafts in each session than most others did 20 years ago.
Unbeknown to the general public, early-on these surgeries were simple to perform, routine and could be done by the surgeon using only one assistant. The current mega-sessions – comparable to a full day of harvesting each hair graft under a compound microscope and the excision of ‘wounds’ when each graft is established in the hair recipient site at the back of the scalp – require much more resources. Bloxham Medical utilizes between 7 and 12 full-time, well-trained technicians (not a part-timer), who must graduate from our comprehensive additional training program of microscopic dissection, and implantation, in order to meet our strict qualifications to function for our patients.
When dealing with our patients, there is an entire team assigned to a given procedure: the doctor and two or three technicians. These clinics where you pay per graft might not have such broad resources available, so you might end up spending two hours in the procedure room, or the grafts might look terrible.
Fee Structure
Our session pricing includes tiered pricing dependent upon the size of your session. As your session sizes increase, its often necessary to add additional technicians every 125 to 150 grafts to maintain the exacting standards of hair transplantation. And regardless of session size, when you have a procedure performed by Bloxham Medical, our team of technicians is with you every step of the way and far more skilled than other clinics will have on staff for your procedure. In fact, in more than 90% of procedures we overstaff to maintain standards. One of the most common causes of poor surgery arises from technician fatigue. Through the use of large teams for every procedure, we mitigate this known point of failure and you receive the best that the world has to offer.
Payment Information
All patients are to make an initial, non-refundable payment of $2500 prior to scheduling their hair restoration procedure, with the remaining balance due on or before the date of their procedure.
Additional Fees
All patients are required to have their blood work drawn prior to their case. This can be done through your own private physician, or at whatever lab you choose. Often times the lab work costs less then $250. Bloxham Medical has no financial ties to these labs.
